National Platform:  Children’s Miracle Network

• In 2007,  Children’s Miracle Network became the national platform of the Miss America Organization.  On the local, state, and national levels, the Miss America Organization and CMN share in a commitment to raise awareness and funds for CMN hospitals across the country as well as the Miss America Scholarship Program.

Personal Platform:  Eating Disorders

• Miss Missouri recently partnered with McCallum Place in St. Louis, a comprehensive eating disorder treatment center serving adolescents and adults , specializing in integrated medical and psychiatric care.  Tara’s involvement with McCallum Place focuses community outreach and education, both in and out of the classroom.
